Point 1 Kick (foot) movement

The first thing to introduce is [kick (foot) movement].

[Kick (foot) movement] is a lot of children who struggle.
The reason is that the kick (foot) of breaststroke has [movement to bend the ankle] .

In other swims, the ankle is extended and the instep of the foot is kicked into the water to gain propulsion.

For children, the movement of bending their ankles and the movement of getting propulsion by sandwiching water are the first movements, so even if they understand it in their head, it is difficult to express it in their body .

Here are some tips on how to bend your ankle.

①Penguin walk [open toes]

Spreading your fingers will make it easier to bend your ankle.
Also, by checking with your own eyes, you will learn how to bend your ankle.

Practice bending your ankles while lying by the pool.

Point 2 Pull (hand) movement

The pull (hand) movement is large and the body sinks.
Stretch your body as much as possible and move your hands in small circles in front of your chest.

③ While holding water in a small circle, bring your elbows together and breathe, then return to ①.


Create a beautiful horizontal posture by stretching your body.
By maintaining a horizontal posture, you can swim without resistance.

Point 3 Timing

Finally, there is the timing.

Match the pull motion with the kick motion.
Pull → Kick → Let’s match the timing of stretching the body.

[Pull (hand) motion] ⇒ [Kick (foot) motion], and stretch the body to create a horizontal posture to complete.
