[Children can understand! ] Five points for crawl swimming and breathing

This time, it is a “easy crawl course” that is easy for children to understand .
I think there are many children who are not good at water and parents who do not know how to teach swimming.
In this article, we will introduce 5 points on how to swim the crawl for those who have troubles such as “I don’t know how to kick or move my hands well” or “I can’t breathe.”
If you can swim even a little, it will be a lot of fun.

Get used to the water first.

Children who are not good at swimming have a little fear of water.
If you let him swim suddenly, it may make him feel even more scared.
First, get rid of that fear.

Once you get used to it, try to keep your face submerged in water for about 3 to 5 seconds.
Also, if you can attach your face, practice to dive up to your head.
The more you can do, the more confident you will be and the less anxiety you will have.

2. Correct floating posture

Once you get used to the water and can dive, the next step is to float.
The floating posture (fushi float) is very important for all swimming .

●Points when floating

Stretch your hands and put your head in so that your body is straight.
When your head comes out, your waist will drop and you won’t be able to float correctly.
When teaching your child, let’s say things like “Let’s look at your navel” and “Let’s look at the floor” so that the head is inside.
Also, when you hold your breath, your body becomes stronger, so exhale through your nose.

propulsive kick

If you can float, then practice kicking.

● Kick points

Bend your knees slightly and kick from your thighs.
Move your feet so that you can touch the big toes so that the tops of your feet can kick the water.
Holding the kick board will make it easier for your hips to drop, so we recommend doing it in a prone and floating position.

correct hand movements

Once you can kick, practice your hands.
You can create more propulsion by kicking and pushing the water with your hands.

●Hand movement points

If you try to paddle with just your palms, your elbows will bend, so use your whole arms to push the water.
If you move your hands in a hurry, the timing will be off and you will lose momentum, so until you get used to it, align your hands in front of your head.

timing of breathing

If you can turn your hand, the last thing is breathing.
If you can breathe, the crawl is complete.

● Breathing point

Turn your face to the side when your breathing hand touches your thigh.
By opening your mouth and exhaling firmly , you can breathe more easily.
If the outstretched hand is lowered when breathing, the hips will sink and the crawl will lack momentum.
Don’t be in a hurrybe conscious of watering after your hands are together .
